Religion has always been a part of humanity. Every civilization has a story about how the universe was created, details about how we should live our lives and what happens when we die. They have stories about what’s outside of our world, along with epic battle between good and evil. There are many good stories told and many good lessons to learn. Many of these stories seek to tell us: How we got here, why we are here, who put us here, what happens after here, and how we should we live. we die? Most humans spend their entire life concerned about a life that can’t be proven exists, and although some people make good use of their life and the lives of others, most people waste and destroy this, one and only, guaranteed life! Why?
Ultimately, Who do we trust to tell us the correct answers? As it sits the only way we can even begin to answer these questions is in the writings of our ancestors. The only problem with this is... Well, mankind has a tendency to manipulate people and lie about how things really happen. If there truly is someone or something out there, they clearly don’t want us to meet them while we still live. Whether it’s a test or simply why we were created is unknown. Everything we know is because someone told us about it. Even our most religious texts are because someone claimed some supernatural being told them things.
The dilemma for today's generations is why should we trust them to know the truth? Why can’t we hear the truth from the horse’s mouth? We’ve proven that humans have an imagination that is out of this world. We’ve left so much information both true and make believe that future generations are going to struggle to know what’s fact and what’s fiction. Ultimately how do we know what ancient civilization is telling us the truth and who is telling us a fictional story. The question that continues to be asked by today's generations is: why do we even care? Just look around and you will see a history of humans destroying each other, ourselves and the world we live in. We have created our own hell and play God daily. The most confusing thing is why we continue to fight and worry about what happens when we die? Most humans spend their entire life concerned about a life that can’t be proven exists, and although some people make good use of their life and the lives of others, most people waste and destroy this, one and only, guaranteed life! Why?

There are many theories on how man came into this world and more importantly how the entire universe was created. The recurring theme in all of these theories is that an outside entity of some sort willed our universe into existence. Most believe this being sometimes multiple beings, created everything and are the source of all power in the universe. They are all seeing, all knowing, perfect, and are the ultimate source of life and death in the universe. One of the most baffling mysteries of all time is how or why are we so isolated. The universe is huge, yet we are the only planet that we can locate with actual intelligent life forms on it. If something or someone created the huge universe, why did they only populate a single planet? From what we can tell (unless it's being covered up) we are all alone in this universe and our “creator or creators” are completely silent on how we should handle our world.

The spiritual journey is a life altering experience. Which path to take and who is telling the truth is quite difficult to determine. If only a powerful being would help... In the meantime I have split my research into 3 groups: Paganism, Monotheism & No God.
